New Map, New site.

Site is coming really soon, some bugs to fix and then it`s just adding content and saying yay I`m done. Probably get a .com as well.

I won`t bother uploading the new map here but I released FY_Dodecagon at FPSBanana.

Blog...pretty much dead, for now.

Well school`s a pain, the blog is a bit buggy, hard to update, and I lost a lot of images during the database switch.  So I`m pretty  much just letting this website sit quiet for a while until I decide to remake it during summer.  I love web design and will probably not be going for 100% custom hand typed XHTML like I did here.  I`ll be finding an easier to update method such as Kyros`s site he has now, and uber converting it to my style.

When it comes to news uhh...well, school. But that`ll be over in a few weeks. I`ll probably be starting a side job but it`ll only be 3-4 days a week if I do in fact get it. Anthro Arms V2 is still a WIP but pretty far along. Tweak-Geek has been pretty much canceled but I learned a lot from it coding wise which was the primary point of it. sss_arena is done really but I`m too lazy to release it...sorry. I really should >.>

That`s about it. Expect to see a new site whenever I feel like it at  least a month from this post. See ya`ll.

Tweak-Geek - Other Lulz

It`s not a dot com as of yet but it will be, eventually, when I get around to it. School has started back up so anything feeling like work where I don`t see much of a result is pretty much out of my head.

As I said I`m back in school. It isn`t too bad so far but I`ll decide for sure when it REALLY starts. Which will be tuesday. Yay homework assignment season.

That map I posted about? sss_dm? I finally pulled it off my backup DVD`s from the vista switch and got some good work done on it. It has about 3 small bugs, then I`ll test it with Rysoke or Jesse and release.

I made some MAJOR lols at my FPSB profile. Without being a ripe member I don`t have access to CSS style sheets or custom HTML anywhere on the page. HAH, that`s what they think. I`d say I caused a decent amount of damage from just being allowed html in the bio section.

On Vista - Also, where`s the new stuff?

First of all I`d like to make this long overdue post saying that I have Vista now. It worked fine and I`m actually not sure I could go back to XP as a primary operating system anymore now. All of the little features and addons really make a designer like myself happy.

Other than that I`ve been pretty lazy for the most part. I have a CSS map that is just about ready for release sitting on my hard drive. I have a new vector art I don`t feel like finishing. And those Anthro Arms are on the right path but I haven`t touched them for a bit. I`m working on a new website (not to replace this) with a group of people. That`s my primary goal right now I guess. I should be out of this designers block soon enough to continue my normal hobbies.

New Years

Quick blog.

So it`s new years eve now. Been playing rock band like a nut job, singing, guitaring, drumming. I think it`s probably my new favorite game...

Assassins Creed is awesome as well. Going to beat it tonight or tomorrow.

My backup DVD of useful information and programs and lolyiff popped out of my drive right now, finishing it`s burn process. Which means tonight is a Vista Home Premium 32-Bit switch night.

Schools Out - Let the Lazyness Commence

Alright so poof, school closes. I should be learning how to drive during this time but I`ve been a bit on the lazy side. Though I`ve been working on some computer projects.

Anthro Arms V2

So it`s a long way from completion but a huge leap from the original. After this picture was taken I moved the finger furr around so it matched up better, and I`ve been doing more normal mapping for things like the leather band and such. Not sure for a release date, I may work together with someone to port this to different animals if he`s interested. We`ll see how that goes.

SSS_DM

Many thanks to Rysoke for reinspiring me in the mapping world once again. I`ve been working on this little deathmatch CSS map to compliment Rysoke`s additions to the F VS AF server. (69.12.25.180:27015) I`m expecting to release it within the next few days before Christmas. No reason why before or after except that`s when I have time to work on it. Most likely I`ll be playing my brains out in Rock Band after the holidays though so it`s best to finish this up soon.

I can`t believe after all this time, my first true vector is still everybodies favorite. I guess simplicity wins over all some times. I was recently granted a featured post over at ChangeMyDesk.net. I`m actually surprised they`re allowed to do that...considering I have a Creative Commons license on it. But I see no reason to complain considering I was given full credit.

In other news, school is getting hard but I`m getting through it fine. And in case no ones noticed my news posts have been vanishing off the page into thin air. AWESOME. It`s an easy fix I just need to find time I feel like bothering with it to fix it.

Reformat

Well it`s nearing Christmas. Meaning it`s time for my yearly format. Like it or not operating systems get clogged, slow down, installations get corrupted, and most importantly: lazyness. So I did my research. Here were my plans.

• Get 8800GT 512MB
• Switch to 64 BIT OS
• Switch to Windows Vista Ultimate

What`s that cross for? Oh yeah, it FAILED. Don`t get me wrong I love windows, mostly because its standard but I get along with it fine. But wooahhh did it not like my raid set up at all. I went through three raid discs trying to get this boy to recognize my hard drive set up but to no avail. So for now I`m back to 32 Bit XP. (Yes I am aware there is a 64 bit XP)

I may try again later...due to my "methods of Vista aquirement" which could have caused the problem. Especially because of how it didn`t work well on my mate John`s computer either. So we`ll see how it goes.

8800gt - Achievement Addiction

Yeaahhhhh see that bad boy there? Yep that`s it. Not much to say about it except that I love it and now I`m so ready to switch to Vista next week.

I never knew how much fun it could be to get achievements. I`ve been wasting a lot of time on it too, Portal and Ep 2 achievments are fun...

And yes, yes that`s the Little Rocket Man achievement. No I have no life.

I feel rather proud over the Portal thing though haha.

Other than that right now I`m clearing up Christmas Presents for friends. I`ve got Kyros all ordered and I`ll be working on the rest as I can.
